Who I am

Kumi Matsushita


Applying skills developed in advertising and digital marketing to the food sector.

Consultant working in advertising and digital marketing for over 20 years. With experience in graphic design, web design, direction and project management, I have a strong creative background and specialise in communication design. In recent years, I have also been responsible for analysing social network data. Social listening is conducted and used for product development and service improvement.

I started my own business as a freelancer in 2012 before becoming a company in 2016.
Runs Oishii Dashi, promoting the appeal of Japanese dashi soup stock, from around 2020, and Umaminnovation, educating people about umami, from 2023. Relocates to the Netherlands.
